BUDAP
is working hard to contribute to educational development in
the region of Kagera, Tanzania. Through the sounds of the
school band drum we are working together with primary schools
to ensure this tradition in schools is carried on for centuries
to come.
The school band has many unique sounding
drums of different sizes. They play the rich traditional East
African music. Children at an early age listen to the sounds
of these drums on their way to school, signaling the start
of class.
The school band is not only a hobby it
is used as a means to demonstrate a school's musical talents
at a competitive level.
BUDAP is proud of the contribution it is
making to the education sector in Tanzania and will continue
to produce high quality school band drums at reasonable prices.
"I want to wake up early in
the moring because I need to play school band". A
boy from Tumaini primary school.
